Gone Girl (by Gillian Flynn)

The author takes you on a journey through every nook and cranny of the human psychology. You start recognizing people you know and your heart goes out for them until…bang. Very well-written first half with the second one rapidly deteriorating as if the author knew she needs to add Hollywood drama and smart-ass dialogue to adapt it for a movie. Anticlimatic and somewhat sorry ending.
Looking forward to seeing how the movie can possibly visually depict the depth of human psychology that’s portrayed in the novel. (8/10)
